Author signatures
Miss Snark has excellent advice for authors regarding blog/forum signatures. Of course, it’s important to have such a signature in the first place — a linked title, or even just a user icon featuring a book’s cover art, is enough — but do think about where that link leads the reader. Consider: every blog entry will be someone’s introduction to you and your work. If this idea gives you the willies, a bio or bibliography page would be a good link to use instead.
